Privacy policy

buzzzz.me is operated by IT Hub Service Inc., California. Today this site does one thing: it keeps a waiting list. This page says what we hold, why, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect right now
If you join the waiting list, you give us:
- your name and email address, because that is how we tell you the pilot opened;
- your phone number, only if you choose to leave one;
- roughly how many people you could invite, which is a range, not a list.
Your browser adds a little more, and we keep it because it makes the product better:
- your time zone, so nothing is ever sent to you in the middle of your night;
- the page you arrived from, so we know where people find us;
- the country your request came from, as our infrastructure reports it;
- your browser's user agent string and the time you submitted the form.
What we do not do
- No third-party analytics. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Meta pixel, no session recorder, no advertising tag. Nothing here follows you anywhere else.
- No cookies for tracking. We do not set any.
- We never sell, rent or trade your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- No marketing email. We write once, when the pilot opens. If you would rather we did not, reply and say so and you are out.
Who else touches it
The site runs on Cloudflare, and your submission is stored in a Cloudflare database in the United States. Cloudflare processes it for us and for no purpose of its own. When the service itself launches we will use a telephony provider to send text messages and place calls, and this page will be updated before that happens, not after.
When the service launches
The product is built on one promise, and it is worth stating here even though it is not running yet: the phone number a guest leaves stays with the platform. The host it was left for does not see it. Calls are placed to both sides and bridged, so neither person learns the other's number unless they decide to share it afterwards. Text messages are transactional only, one specific fact about one specific person's availability, and STOP ends them immediately.
How long we keep it
Waiting list entries stay until the pilot opens and for a reasonable time after, so we can answer you. Ask us to delete yours and we delete it.
Your choices
Write to info@buzzzz.me and ask to see what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. We will not make you prove you are serious, and we will not charge you. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you these rights by law, and we apply them to everybody regardless of where they live, because running two standards would be silly.
Children
This is a tool for working professionals. It is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with something you already gave us, we will email the people it affects. Quiet edits to a legal page do not count as telling you.
